This fucking scene. I like it. Buster Keaton is awesome for a reason.
- This is hilarious.
- Its fucking dangerous. Like Jackie Chan levels of dangerous stunts.
- His timing, while doing the stunts. Fucking brilliant. Especially with the ties.
- Its a train chase. Think about that. If they got off and ran they would probably be able to go faster at many points in the scene. The absurdity of the whole thing is sort of terrific.
Do yourself a favor and watch some of his movies. I really liked The Railrodder as a kid, but it helps to be Canadian for that one.
Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace. I can’t do this show justice with a description. Its a parody, but it manages to be over the top and almost believable as a forgotten 80’s tv show at the same time. Just fucking watch the first episode.
This scene shows a lot of what makes the show so great.
I really like kung fu movies and Ip Man is one of the few recent ones I really enjoyed. This scene is pretty great. The final fight in this movie is better but it would spoil the ending.
Don’t watch Ip Man II, it sucks ass.
Django swings so hard its impossible to not tap your toes to his catchy gypsy guitar.
